Newsmax host Greg Kelly included Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro – who is very non-Black – on his list of Black conservatives on Tuesday night, going as far as describing Shapiro as “” one of the heroes” of the Black conservative movement.
Kelly, who recently claimed there hasn’t been a “significant” protest of white supremacy in a century, once again took issue with mainstream media figures and political politicians. on the continuing impact of systemic racism in the United States. According to the MAGA Newsmax cartoon star, the fact that anti-racism activists have jobs and families proves that racism doesn’t exist.
“So we looked at it – all the people who just continued to systematically white-collar racism and white supremacy, they all graduated from high school,” he declared. “They are both married and they have no children out of wedlock. If only they were on television and talking about those things, they’re really helping people.”
The Report by Greg Kelly The host then took aim at MSNBC host Yasmin Vossoughian for saying systemic racism “pervades every social system we have” in the United States.
“Who is that now? And what is she talking about? ‘ Kelly scoffed. “Every system we have here is pervasive, right? Systematic racism, every system. If I lived in a country where every system is systematically racist, I would move! I really will. I did not join the military to protect a country with a racist system. How about that? Who is she?”
After listing Vossoughian’s background for a number of reasons, the former Fox News host wondered what she and “anyone of those people” would do if they met a Black conservative.
As he said, the program broadcast an imagehighlighting the caption “Left supporters Black conservatives become traitors,” which includes Shapiro along with three other conservative Black men (including Herman Cain, who died on 2020 because of COVID-19.)
“They’re out there, but they’re shunned because, boy, what do they have to say,” Kelly exclaims before explaining the inclusion of a decidedly white scholar on the list.
“And the late Herman Cain and of course, Ben Shapiro, was not Black but one of the heroes of the movement,” he added with a straight face. “This really interrupts the story and that’s why they’re marginalized. They shouldn’t be. They should be celebrated and heard, right? ”
