New world update prepares for server consolidation, fixes many other bugs from November
The latest update for New world focus on help fix some problems from the November update, as well as other fixes and even a change made in preparation for the upcoming server consolidation.
One of the problems that from November’s update Not even technically a bug, but accidentally removing all Horticultural Harvest equipment. The patch made all of these devices marked as future, unreleased content, and it just got removed from the game. Everyone who loses a Harvester armor piece will find a reward chest in their inventory with a full set (five items) bound on the equipment replacement shards at the highest gear point for any player. any level the player reached before making the mistake. These chests with replacement equipment are rolling out in batches, so if you’ve lost your gear and haven’t received it yet, Amazon recommends you wait a little longer.
After temporarily shutting down and adjusting, buying, selling, moving and utilizing items and furniture in the house has been reactivated. Another transactional fix has also been resolved. This makes it impossible for players to fill their Orders from the local storage.
Elemental enemies have reduced their number of unusually high moes, but in this update Amazon removed moes as rewards so creatures can now be harvested again, with the exception of wolves. The wolves will need some more work, so this will probably appear in the next update.
Server merge coming soon, apparently due to Amazon communication and constant player frustration, but we don’t know too many details yet. In the patch notes it simply says “the technical basis for the server consolidation”, so this at least establishes that they are preparing for it. Stay tuned for any announcements.
