Simply this morning we requested our readers what expectations they had for Amazon’s New World, and hopefully someplace in that thread, somebody requested for a stable beta. That’s actually what Amazon is hoping for, as as we speak it’s posted a recap of the plan for pre-launch event, now only a week away on July twentieth and working by August 2nd.

“Gamers are eligible to take part within the Closed Beta by three strategies: you’ll be able to join the prospect to get into Closed Beta from this web page or you’ll be able to pre-order the sport on both Amazon or Steam to safe entry. We are going to randomly choose members from the tester sign-up web page at common intervals all through Closed Beta. When you’ve signed up, be sure you verify your e-mail all through the testing interval to see when you obtain an invitation. Gamers who pre-order on Amazon by June 17 at 11:59PM PT (6:59AM UTC) will obtain an invitation on June 19. Pre-orders on Amazon after June 17 will obtain an invitation as much as 48 hours after order affirmation.” [Editor’s note: They clearly meant July here, but as we are writing this, it says June.]

Notably, Amazon says the closed beta servers are situated in North America, Europe, Australia, and Brazil; that there isn’t any NDA and you may stream and report every part; and there’ll most undoubtedly be a wipe earlier than launch, so don’t get too cozy.
