Amazon officially announced the date when the first server merger for New World will take place, possibly just one of many events to come.
Amazon’s MMO New world continues to be remarkably popular, regularly topping 130,000 concurrent players on Steam. Though, New world went through some increasing difficulty to get to this point. A large wave of players at launch dispersed over time, combined with free server transfers that moved players away from less-player servers, led to the need for early server mergers. Over the past month, Amazon has promised to do so. Now, New worldOur developers are ready to start those server consolidations.
In an announcement made Friday, Amazon confirmed that the first server consolidation for New world will happen on December 8th. Two servers in New worldThe EU Central Clusters, Mardi and Brittia, will be merged on that date. At the moment, Amazon has locked down both servers in preparation for the merger so that no player data is lost during the transition. The player himself will not be affected by the merge, although Mardi’s Territorial ownership and contracts would be left behind in favor of Brittia’s current state.
Interestingly, neither Mardi nor Brittia are among the European Union Centers lowest population New world lucky owner, as they are actually among the healthiest servers in the European Union Central. Merging the two together could potentially create one of the top 10 – 20 strongest servers in the heart of the European Union. There are about 200 servers in EU Central, as it is easily the largest region for New world and are most affected by the departure or transfer of players. As such, Mardi and Brittia appear to be leading contenders for Amazon’s first direct merger.
Depending on how Mardi and Brittia’s merger goes, Amazon different conclusions can be drawn. For one, whether server consolidation works as planned for appropriately sized groups of servers. Furthermore, Amazon will see if the server thrives after the merger. If successful, it could speed up future server mergers.
As noted, Mardi and Brittia are nowhere near the servers with the lowest population of EU Central. Legitimate there are hundreds of servers that need to be merged all over New worldof regions. And after that is done, many unify New world lucky owner will need to be merged again. It’s going to be a long process, and Amazon has done its job.
And now, New world player can keep a close eye on Mardi’s merger with Brittia to see if Amazon’s process lives up to all expectations. It will take place on December 8 at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET. It’s always possible that the fusion process won’t go as expected, but it’s absolutely a necessary first step for your future health. New world.
