New World Developers Answer the Community Challenge and Make the Myrkgard Run
The New World developers responded to the game’s community by accepting the challenge of running Myrkgard which wasn’t as successful as fans might have expected.
Depressed by the difficulty of New worldAs the game content ended, a large portion of the game’s community begged the MMO developers to do a Myrkgard run. The developers of New world has since been accepted, with some hilarious results.
Few New world Fans have speculated that the developers of the MMO didn’t play the final game content based on its difficulty, and they may have found their answer during a recent Myrkgard developer run. This Myrkgard run includes Game Director Scot Lane, Senior Producer Mike Willette, Creative Director David Verfaillie and Game Designer Zach Holm. The video also shows their different perspectives to give New world players know what gear they’re wearing, what skills they’re using, and their location.
The New world developer video starts with the team behind the game explaining that they don’t have enough equipment for Myrgard and don’t have as good skills as New worldof dedicated players, showing that they expect some wipes. The video includes a full team of ten developers but focuses only on the aforementioned four team leaders and some helpful tips that frequently pop up in the middle of the screen. These tips include helpful information to help New world Players find success in Myrkgard with witty, self-aware jokes at the developer’s expense.
