New Horizons update fixes bugs with Base Game and Happy Home Paradise DLC

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has released a new update to fix known issues with the base game and the Happy Home Paradise DLC.
A new patch is out for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Including some updates for known bugs in both Animal Crossing: New Horizons base game and Happy Home Paradise DLC.
This is the second update since release Happy Home Paradise DLC and offer other fixes for minor issues players may encounter while playing. The update will be installed automatically in most cases. However, to double check, players can go into System Settings on their Switch, select Data Management, then Software Management, and finally select Animal Crossing: New Horizons to see the version listed. This patch is version 2.0.2.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons Base game fixes

During one of Kapp’n’s boat tours, Brewster can overlap the player and prevent the player from moving.

Kapp’n songs may stop playing and prevent the game from continuing.

Select “How does it work?” the option at the start of a team stretch session in a multiplayer session can prevent the game from continuing.

Posters for Orville will be available on Nook Shopping after inviting Wilbur to Photopia.

Posters for Wilbur will be available on Nook Shopping after inviting Orville to Photopia.

Placing certain pieces of furniture on the jetty may prevent the player from talking to Kapp’n.

The pipe item’s bend function will stop working after the player discusses buying stuff from a resident in that resident’s house.

Extended group music sometimes won’t play if an audio device near the square is playing.

The Nook Miles + “Visit Roost for a Break” activity can appear multiple times in the same day.
While there isn’t anything big or groundbreaking in this update, it shows that Nintendo is still paying close attention. Animal Crossing: New Horizons and listen to player feedback. Also, it’s a good sign of faith that Nintendo is continuing to update patches regularly after stating that they won’t be offering any more free updates to the original game. The roommates won’t appear in a follow-up scene if their shared motel situation ends while in the yard of their motel.
Like the base game update, this patch doesn’t add too much to it Happy Home Paradise DLC. Instead, it solves a bunch of problems that players might face and thus improves the overall experience. Particularly difficult for players are issues that can lead to game crashes altogether. But given that in the past and the trend of updates leaning towards more frequent updates, players should be content with the game’s and DLC’s bright future.
Animal Crossing: New Horizon’s Happy Home Paradise DLC released on November 5, 2021, to much fanfare. Since then, the game has received two updates including this one.
