New Fortnite update makes some weapon balance changes
Fortnite is rolling out another update following its previous fix, this time making some balance changes to some Chapter 3 weapons.
Fortnite will be announcing another new update today, this time making some balance changes to some of the new weapons in Chapter 3. The new balance update is sure to cause divisions among the players. play, with some weapons nerfed and others buffed.
Epic Games’ popular free-to-play battle royale has now entered the second month of its first Chapter 3 season. The “Flipped” section introduces a brand new map, with some of the fan-favorite POIs returning. The first season of Fortnite Chapter 3 also introduced a loads of new items and weapons, although some of those weapons have now been changed with the new update.
Details about the official Fortnite Twitter account update service, balance update affects all rarity of three specific weapons: Stinger SMG, MK-Seven Assault Rifle and Auto Shotgun. For Stinger SMG, damage ratio reduced from (in order of rarity) 18/19/20/21/22/24 to 16/17/18/19/20/22. It’s a similar case with the MK-Seven Assault Rifle, which is being nerfed from 21-26 to 20-25. The only weapon that gets the buff is the Auto Shotgun, whose reload time is reduced by a whopping two seconds, from 8.8-6.8 to 6.2-4.8.
Fortnite states that it will continuously evaluate weapon balance changes as the season progresses, suggesting more balance is possible. The update comes after another, which was released a day earlier. Fortnite19.01’s hotfix added severe weather to the island, in the form of tornadoes and lightning. The giant torsion bars suck up almost any object it crosses its path – including the player – that they can use as a means of escape. Lightning deals damage and sets the area on fire, but gives the player a temporary speed boost.
While Fortnite seems to be rolling out near-constant content updates by the end of time, with even more to come, if one is to believe a prominent leaker is believed to be. Well established Fortnite leaker HYPEX said some Spiderman NPCs will appear in the Daily Bugle soon, including Mary Jane Watson and the Green Goblin. Mary Jane is said to be selling Web Shooter with limitless web quality, while HYPEX is uncertain about Green Goblin details. The leaker believes that a third Spiderman-Related characters will also appear, though it’s a mystery about who.
even though Fortnite Chapter 3 covers mostly new and evolving elements, an old-school fan favorite starting to emerge. Ready confirmed that Tilted Towers is returning, and a recent leak could reveal exactly when.
