Destiny 2 introduces a total of four new swords into the game between the 30th Anniversary Pack and The Dawning, but one of them could be super rare.
Fate 2 is currently in a great state, with its story being the best in years and the gameplay has also evolved a lot, featuring many new activities and reworked content. Fate 2The 30th Anniversary Pack also dropped just a week ago, and it has taken the Guardians by storm so far thanks to the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon and 6-player Dares of Eternity activity. Grasp of Avarice introduced Fate 2The best loot to date, the Artifice Armor, is particularly groundbreaking in its ability to offer a fifth mod slot that can only be used for seasonal mods from artifacts.

Players can get a bunch of new weapons, an Exotic ship, and a variety of cosmetic items, all for free. This is unlike any other activity in the game so far, with only Menagerie coming close, at least back when it was overheard or edited.
Among all the weapons Fate 2 which the player can obtain in Dares of Eternity through Treasure Keys, there is a new sword called The Other Half, half of Halo The Energy Sword and complements Half-Truths, another sword introduced in the DLC. Both weapons have great perks and both can be roamed with Eager Edge new perks, that allows Fate 2 players “skate swords” again. However, it appears that The Other Half is much rarer than its counterpart, and this is by design, according to Tom Farnsworth, Senior Design Lead at Bungie.
Fate 2 Content creator and YouTuber Ehroar also shared a video on the subject, comparing all three new swords, although a fourth sword is now available with The Dawning: Zephyr event, which can be scrolled with unique cold steel privilege. During Ehroar’s comparison, the Youtuber found that The Other Half had the best total perks in the entire game at the moment, but they never found it in over 100 Treasure Keys, and due that can’t really test it. Because swords are so rare, it’s also really hard to get the exact combination of perks a player might want.
Fate 2New Dawning Sword of it’s still good if players get it, but it’s not as strong globally as The Other Half. Therefore, an official statement from Bungie regarding the relegation rate for The Other Half would be beneficial, although players should not expect actual numbers.
