New December World Patch Add New Perks
Amazon shares PTR patch notes planned for New World’s December update, revealing more than a dozen new Perks and its holiday event plans.
New worldAmazon developers are working hard to improve MMO. The team even announced their first server consolidation on December 8, likely just one of many events that will follow. However, soon after, New world will receive the December update and with it a special holiday event. Before that came, however, Amazon dropped the update scheduled for December on its public Test Environment server. It also shared patch notes for the update, which include more than a dozen new Perks players will be able to use.
Fourteen New Perks seem to be lined up to showcase New world in its December patch. Privileges seem to be targeting a number of different specific regions. For example, there are some new Perks improve collection efficiency, Attack Perks that reduce the effectiveness of your opponent’s healing, Perks that improve fully charged attacks or active Grit attacks, and also Perks that reduce damage from enemies different sources.
The range of new Perks appears to be targeted by Amazon to address very specific feedback streams from New world player. It’s not unusual to see New world players frustrated with how long it takes to assemble, not likely deal with healing in PvP, High-risk and low-reward brute and charged attacks, or lack of Defense Perks for tanks. These new perks will provide New world players some more in-depth optimization for the device they wear.
Privileges, for those unfamiliar, are abilities associated with Weapons and pieces of armor. Each item can have between 0 and three Privileges, depending on its quality. For example, items of Normal quality have no Perks, while High quality items have 3 Perks. Weapons and armor can also have Gem slots, with gems that each offer a specific Privilege for better optimization. Suffice it to say, New world players spend a lot of time trying to get equipment with perfect Perks.
Of course, new Perks aren’t all that’s coming in the December patch. The PRT patch also details the changes including a major change to PvP combat, with Amazon rewritten formula for PvP damage due to issues with lower level players having higher damage reduction. Much New worldWeapons have also been tweaked or fixed known bugs for the December Patch.
Of course, the biggest addition of the December update will be New worldWinter gathering event of. Snow will fall more often, the Northern Lights appear in the sky, and the Yeti, the Winter Wanderer, will see fit to visit the land of New world. Players will be able to collect Winter Tokens throughout the event, which can be redeemed at the Holiday Shop for unique cosmetics. It will be good for New world players have some new content to keep the MMO fresh, in addition to all the ongoing bug fixes from Amazon.
