New Apex bug that teleports an unlucky player with Ash’s ultimate to the middle of the map

In a season filled with countless humorous errors, Apex Legends players discovered another unexpected interaction with Ash’s portal that instantly sent an unfortunate victim hundreds of meters away from their team.

Recorded by reddit user u/zkjsamtu their fate and the hilarious moment of confusion that comes from the discovery of an unexpected rift in space-time. One that took them from the height of the Challenge to the lonely edge of Fragment West before anyone could process what happened.

The error itself comes from the death of the player Ash used her ultimate. Surrounded by a full team with nowhere to go, she opens a rift in a last-minute attempt to find a daring escape.

When zkjsamtu entered the now-accessed portal that was left behind, their party finally defeated Ash and caused her newly wielded ultimate ability to disappear. This causes disaster for the player, now traveling through the void. In the end, they were suddenly pulled out of the portal but were now sitting in the sky above the south corner of Fragment West. On the bright side, covering the vast ground currently between them and their allies shouldn’t be too difficult with Valkyrie’s ultimate ready in their back pocket.

Users in the comments detailed similar experiences of teleportation with Wraith’s portal in previous seasons, while others set their mind to planning on how this bug could be resolved. used to shoot impressive maps. Whether it is an easy fix or not remains to be considered. Considering it most likely stems from the fact that Ash’s end doesn’t last long in the game world beyond her death, that could be a challenge to deal with.
