Neverwinter’s Latest Module, Dragonbone Vale, Brings Players Back to Sword Coast

Never crowded will launch the next module that brings players back to Sword Coast’s iconic Dungeons & Dragons location in Dragonbone Vale, which is set to release on PC on January 11. Console players will have to wait until that date. February 8th.

The Upcoming module gives it a new adventure zone, the Sword Mountains, as they attempt to stop the moon elf Valindra Shadowmantle, who has returned to work alongside the Dragon Sect.

Via press release this morning:

“In Dragonbone Vale, the evil moon elf Valindra Shadowmantle has returned to threaten the Sword Coast along with the Dragon Sect, who had gathered in the Sword Mountains when they intended to summon the Rite of Dracolich to bring about salvation. death to the dragons across Faerûn and beyond.To reach the Scaleblight Summit and stop the Dragon Cult once and for all, adventurers, along with the Heroes of Neverwinter and forces allies, will need to go through four separate neighborhoods of the Sword Mountains.”

Alongside the new area, players will have a new mechanic to traverse the landscape: a grappling hook. Cryptic says this will make getting around the world a little faster, as well as “more epic than ever.” Players will also have the chance to battle Valindra herselve as well as bronze Dracolich, Palhabroithyn, in the upcoming 10-player trial, The Crown of Keldegonn.

Along with Dragonbone Vale comes an Upgrade and Perfection overhaul that aims to improve the quality of life as well as bring all new features to the MMO. Finally, more content has been announced to wrap up the Dragonbone Vale story in Scaleblight Mythal, which will launch on February 8 for PC, consoles on March 8.
