Netflix’s Resident Evil release date revealed in bloody new poster

Live-action by Netflix Resident Evil series will launch globally on July 14, the streamer has revealed.
Netflix also released three teaser artwork for the show based on Capcom’s long-running horror game series.
Simple posters with a sharp new logo and splatters of blood on a bright yellow background. People just show the logo with blood bubbles on it. One shows a pill marked with the word “Joy” and what appears to be the Umbrella Corporation logo. Another vial of blood was labeled positive for the T-virus.

Netflix’s log for the show reads:
In 2036 – 14 years after a deadly virus caused a global apocalypse, Jade Wesker fights for survival in a world ravaged by infected creatures and bloodthirsty lunatics. In this absolute carnage, Jade is haunted by her past in New Raccoon City, by her father’s chilling connection to the Umbrella Corporation but mostly by what happened to her sister. , Billie.
Of course, Jade’s father will be Albert Wesker, who will be played by Lance Reddick on the show (Wire, Life). Netflix previously confirmed that the show would move between two timelines, one featuring Jade and Billie in their teens and one set in a future ravaged by a zombie virus. The new series also stars Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph, Paola Nuñez, and is written by Supernaturalby Andrew Dabb.
