Netflix debuts trailer from WIT Studio’s upcoming cartoon, ‘Bubble’

Netflix has significantly expanded its library of anime titles over the past year. The streaming platform today announced a brand new movie that will arrive on the platform in 2022 crafted by the iconic WIT Studio.
Balloon is Netflix’s latest anime announcement, and the series boasts a unique premise set in a world where gravity has broken in Tokyo. While competing in a parkour battle, a young man named Hibiki accidentally falls into the gravity-bending sea before being saved by a strange girl named Uta, who has some unique powers.
According to the film’s description, this chance meeting leads to a revolution with a world-changing impact.
As you’d expect from WIT Studio, the animations look amazing and perfectly capture the parkour’s cross-cutting aspects of the story. WIT Studio is responsible for the first three seasons of the wildly successful animated series Attack on Titan. This will be a far cry from their first time entering the film industry, they have had a lot of experience in the past, including Pokémon The Movie: Our Power, released in 2018.
Animation studio behind Balloon is not the only industry leader involved in the project. Takeshi Obata, who worked on Death Note, create character designs; Hiroyuki Sawano’s Attack the giant a reputation for composing music; Fate / Zero’s Gen Urobuchi wrote.
You will be able to go live Balloon globally on Netflix when it premieres on April 28, 2022. Until then, check out the announcement trailer for the film. here.
