Yesterday (Monday, December 6), DJ Akademikz pay attention to how NBA YoungBoy-also known as YoungBoy never broke up again–Helped Club house. For those who don’t know, Clubhouse is an app that launched at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. It allows people from all over the world to basically join a large group call together, and it is used by some celebrities to interact with other stars and fans on a daily basis.
It turns out that after NBA YoungBoy (real name Kentrell DeSean Gaulden) has joined Clubhouse, the app that is said to have seen a massive increase in numbers. This has been acknowledged by DJ Akademikz on social media, who tweeted:
“After NBA YoungBoy joined Clubhouse and his entire fan base flocked to the app. Clubhouse went from #60 on the App Store to a top 5 in just a few days. ”
The statement is accompanied by a chart of the Apple App Store, which shows that the number of devices with Clubhouse downloaded spiked from late November to early December – this roughly correlates with when NBA YoungBoy, 22 years old, joined this application.
As of today (Tuesday, December 7), the app is ranked #4 for social media.
This news came out about a month and a half later NBA YoungBoy to be release from prison. As a condition of his release, rapper “Slime Belief” was placed under house arrest in Utah.
