NAVI Rookie B1t Became Second Highest Earning Ukrainian CS:GO Player

Natus Vincere (NAVI) had one of the most successful years in CS:GO history for any eSports organization, winning eight tournaments including the Intel Grand Slam Season 3 and the 2021 PGL Major Stockholm. One of the reasons why NAVI was able to achieve this incredible feat is because of their talented rookie, Valerii. “b1t” Vakhovskyi, who became a permanent member of the team’s active roster earlier this year.

This rookie not only brings stability to the CIS (Community of Independent States) roster, but also has spectacular performances at important LAN tournaments. His success coupled with the success of the organization has made him the seventh highest earning Ukrainian esports player ever, in terms of total prize money won across tournaments, according to Earnings from eSports.

B1t overtakes Dendi and Zeus to become the seventh highest earning Ukrainian esports player

The 18-year-old Ukrainian, b1t, in his first year as a first-rate professional CS:GO player for NAVI has continued to make a lot of money $848,841 USD in tournament prize money through 2021.

B1t has competed in 15 CS:GO tournaments this year, winning eight of them alongside NAVI, including two BLAST Premier World/Global Championships, Stockholm Major, IEM Cologne and even a title Intel Grand Slam.

This rookie had difficulty in the online phase while adjusting to the team, but then he put on strong performances on LAN and showed that he can adapt to the environment and love. How fast is the team’s demand? This is probably why he won the title of ‘PC Esports Rookie of the Year’ at the Esports Awards 2021 while going up against other talented contenders like Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, Ayaz “NATS” Akhmetshin, Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov, and more.

B1t’s success in 2021 made him the seventh highest earning esports player from Ukraine across all titles in terms of tournament winnings. If only CS:GO is taken into account, b1t is the second highest earning Ukrainian player after Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev.

The top five CS:GO Ukraine players by total prizes won across tournaments are as follows:

  • Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev | $1,518.238.65 USD

  • Valerii “b1t” Vakhovskyi | $848,841.03 USD

  • Daniel “Zeus” Teslenko | 689,568.70 USD

  • Ioann “Edward” Sukharev | $ 613,854.60 USD

  • Kirill “ANGE1” Karasiow | $173,979.82 USD

There was more difference $150,000 USD between b1t’s one-year bonus earnings and what Zeus has earned through tournaments over the past 17 years. Also, when all esports titles are considered, b1t even surpassed Dota legend Danil “Dendi” Ishutin’s total income from the tournament stands at $809,470.53 USD.

With NAVI already setting the epoch in 2021, they are looking ahead to 2022 with a big goal overhead. If b1t continues to grow, next year is likely to be more fruitful for NAVI.
