NAF renews contract with Team Liquid

Canadian CS GO star Keith “NAF” Markovic has extended his contract with Team Liquid until 2024, he announced today.

The news arrived just four days later report Liquid is looking to rebuild CS GO the split surrounding Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski and the NAF and Michael “Grim” Wince was not included in the plan. However, NAF and Liquid put an end to the rumors following his impressive performance at the BLAST Premier Fall Final, in which he scored an average review score of 1.15.

NAF joined Liquid in February 2018 after a brief partnership with Renegades and has played an integral role in the team’s performance over the past three years. The 24-year-old helped them win multiple titles, including IEM Sydney, DreamHack Masters Dallas, ESL Pro League season nine and ESL One Cologne in 2019 to conquer the second Intel Grand Slam season.

With the NAF extending his contract, he is expected to play alongside EliGE on Liquid’s new roster. Before the BLAST Premier Fall Finals, EliGE and Jake “Stewie2K” confirmed The organization will make some changes to the roster later this year.

Liquid’s team morale took a hit after they failed to make it to the knockout stages of the PGL Stockholm Major earlier this month. Stewie2K and Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo are said to be weighing their options and Grim’s future remains unclear.
