N.S. driver charged after hitting pedestrian in Spryfield crosswalk – Halifax

Halifax Regional Police have charged a girl after hitting a pedestrian in a crosswalk in Spryfield.
In a launch, police say they responded to the realm of 330 Herring Cove Highway round 5:23 p.m. on Friday.
“A pedestrian was being handled by members of the general public who had stopped to assist and later, Emergency Well being Providers,” it mentioned.
“The driving force was onscene and an investigation concluded that they did not cease for the pedestrian whereas in a crosswalk exhibiting flashing amber lights.”
In response to the discharge, the driving force was ticketed beneath the motorized vehicle act for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
The pedestrian’s accidents weren’t believed to be life-threatening.
