My Hero Academia World Heroes ‘Mission Film earns US$40 million at Worldwide Box Office

The new My Hero Academia film has been a huge success at the international box office, and looks to be the most successful film in the series.

By account, My Hero Academia World Heroes ‘Mission’ made US$10 million in North America. The film has grossed a total of $40 million at the worldwide box office to date, surpassing its predecessors in the process.
The film grossed an estimated US$216,484 in Australia, despite falling out of the top 10 in its second weekend. It earned an estimated US$314,431 in Hong Kong while also bringing in around US$20,285 in New Zealand, which opened a week later than Australia.
The film premiered on August 6 in Japan and grossed US$29.46 million during its run. The Japanese and North American markets contributed to the majority of the film’s sales, although it is still doing well in other countries.
NS the first movie in the series, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, was released in 2018 and grossed US$33.4 million. letter two, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, which premiered the following year and grossed $29.9 million at the box office.
My Hero Academia: World Heroes ‘Mission had its North American premiere on October 24 at the Animation Film Festival. Funimation is distributing the film in the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland while TOHO is distributing in Japan.
