While the museum focuses on fine art, senior curator Andrew Kear says language plays a big part in helping visitors understand the works inside.

“Being able to encounter a work of art or historical artifact in one’s native language provides an opportunity for greater joy, clarity and accessibility,” he told 980 CFPL.

At the event, visitors can tour the exhibitions, see a live performance of Indian classical dances, receive a gift bag, and enjoy snacks.
