Murderer of French Holocaust survivor gets life in prison
Knoll and her mom escaped the “Vel d’Hiv” roundup of Parisian Jews in July 1942, in line with Meyer Habib, a French lawmaker who stated he has been involved with Knoll’s family. Throughout the roundup, roughly 13,000 Jews have been arrested and deposited in a stadium close to the Eiffel Tower. Knoll escaped to Portugal, possible avoiding being despatched to the Auschwitz focus camp.
