MultiVersus Shaggy Can Become Super Saiyan, Ultra Instinct

The teaser trailer for Warner Bros. MultiVersus features a wide variety of characters, including Shaggy from Scooby-Doo with meme powers.

Not so long ago, the idea of MultiVersus not really taken seriously. Thought Warner Bros. will break into the fighting genre with a game that combines many of its properties sounds like a crazy video game rumor.

That rumor is no longer a rumor: MultiVersus really a thing. Take the form of a platform fighter with many of Warner Bros.’s most famous characters. step into the ring, it will be an instant competitor with Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Brawlhallaand others like them. Even more people like the list of some moves that they are bringing to the table.

NS shove of MultiVersus there’s certainly variety, from Arya Stark to Tom & Jerry and every degree of seriousness or eccentricity in between. One of the weird additions is Shaggy from Scooby-Doo. This seemed odd until seeing the move set they gave Shaggy: he was able to power up in a way very similar to, but without a doubt legally, Super Saiyan and Ultra Instinct forms of his. Goku, with the right aura and everything.

To anyone who finds this odd, the source of these moves is not a single Scooby-Doo/seven dragon pearls cross, but the internet. A sequence in a more recent Scooby-Doo The movie shows Shaggy walking into a bar full of cyclists, and from that spawns a meme about Shaggy having superhuman powers on par with seven dragon pearlsby Goku. It became so popular that Warner Bros. paid homage to it in a recent cartoonand now it seems these powers are being spread in MultiVersus at least.

The “Super Shaggy” meme has become really popular, with Shaggy’s power levels reaching sky-high, typically blowing up a planet at 10% of his strength, so there’s a reason Warner Bros. . want to take advantage of it. Shaggy has been modified to Super Smash Bros., so putting him in a platform fighter just makes sense.

Of course, the moment a company puts a meme to use is usually the moment the meme dies. If Warner Bros. for this to work, they’ll still have to come up with a good platform fighter legally, or all that Teaser from Ed Boon won’t go anywhere. There’s a lot of good will going on MultiVersus now, as fans aren’t quick to forgive a sour meme.
