MS Rau, one of the premier art, jewelry and antiques galleries, opened a refurbished 8,500 square foot jewelry store and jewelry exhibition in New Orleans.
The project took two years to design and navigate the complexities of a historic renovation, designed by the Jonathan Tate Office and Truitt Brand Design. The refurbished retail space includes two floors of the gallery’s original building, making it one of the region’s finest jewelry shopping destinations.
Led by third-generation owner Bill Rau, the gallery has grown tremendously since his grandfather Max Rau opened the doors to a petite antique shop in 1912. “We’ve been since 1912. has long had a vision of a modern work of art, living the jewelry space,” says Rau. “Our recent expansion allows us to make this vision a reality.
