Who is the Moon Knight? Origin explained
In the upcoming Disney + Show, the character of Moonlight Knight will be played by Oscar Isaac. But the masked vigilante appeared long before Oscar Isaac, first appearing in ‘Werewolf by Night #32’ in May 1975.
Moonlight Knight has a long list of nicknames and aliases, but his real name is Marc Spectator, a mercenary who was left to die in the desert before being resurrected by the Moon God known as Khonshu.
From this point on, Marc Spectator has become Moonlight Knight and was appointed high priest of Khonshu, who would continue to protect those who traveled at night. Marc also suffers from dissociative identity disorder, which has seen the character create many different personalities over the years.

A lot of Moon Knight His strength and ability comes from his many years in the military and his martial arts training. For this, Moonlight Knight has the following powers and capabilities:
- Marc has been a professional boxer and fighter for many years, which means he’s an expert in hand-to-hand combat.
- A veteran pilot who has served many years as a US Marine.
- Strong detective skills and great knowledge of the criminal underworld.
- Weapon master and marksman expert.
- A powerful threshold of pain caused by years of bodily harm.
- Moon Knight’s Multiple personality disorder also allowed him to develop telepathic resistance.
