MLB announces changes to housing policy for non-schoolers

The dwellings in question must be furnished and “located at a reasonable, commutable distance from the football field,” the MLB statement said. Each player will receive their own bed, no more than two players will share a bedroom, and the team owner will pay utilities. If an apartment, rental or host family is not an option, hotel rooms that meet the standards can be used – housing must have a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living space general – can be used.
