Mix of sun and clouds; slim chance of showers, storms

We’re off to a cool, comfortable start to our Friday. Temperatures range from the mid-50s to the 60s. Today has a combination of sunny and cloudy with a peak around 80.

Very little chance of showers and storms this morning/midday for our western counties.
Some showers near the lake on Saturday morning, otherwise showers and storms move in from the North after 8pm. Showers and storms continued through Sunday morning. Dry Sunday afternoon. Humidity returns this weekend.
We are returning to the summation pattern next week as we close out July. Heat and humidity return to highs near 90°.
Here’s Fox’s latest 8-day forecast:

So far, this July Cleveland comes in at number 5 for the wettest July on record. We are now 7″, 9″ above the record set in 1992. Akron/Canton and Mansfield aren’t even in the top 10 wettest places on record.
