Minecraft players spend over 100 hours building the beautiful Yggdrasil tree

Some people don’t understand the allure of Minecraft, a game that’s been around for over a decade but offers no real quests, goals, or instructions for the player. The procedurally generated sandbox game has developed a strong community and provides a way for people to express their creativity, allowing Minecraft Players build active tractors, challenging mazes, and even games that recreate real-world locations.

One of the keys to the success of Minecraft is a variety of mods available to assist players in bringing their ideas into reality. There are texture packs that give everything to add a medieval or fantasy, rustic, sci-fi, horror, and even cartoon look to the game’s building blocks. Brand new environments can be obtained by adding mod biome for Minecraft, like Terralith 2.0 which adds more intricate and detailed caves and mountains to the game, Graveyard with its red lake and glowing lanterns, or Destroyed Land which gives the game a creepy atmosphere than.

Recently, a Reddit user by the name of Neozono shared the final results of their first main course. Minecraft plan, Yggdrasil is also known as the World Tree. Neozono first started posting pictures of the tree around Christmas 2021, but has made significant progress on the project by that time. In general, Neozono claims that the construction of the Tree of Life in Minecraft requires more than 100 hours of work and some inspiration comes from versions of Yggdrasil that appear in Dragon Quest 9 and 11. “I really love the concept of a giant floating tree,” says Neozono.

The interior of Minecraft The player’s version of the World Tree is a server hub, with a dedicated space for an inn, a library corner filled with bookshelves, a seating area with table lanterns, and what looks like a store or front desk. Since it is a tree, Neozono made sure to add greenery throughout the inside and outside of Yggdrasil, as well as lights. The entire tree shines, including the roots and leaves, with lanterns, chandeliers, and what must be thousands of light blocks.

Open format of Minecraft really boost the player’s creativity, almost like dumping a big bucket of building blocks on the floor and saying, “Let’s go”. Some of the most popular builds in the game are reenactments of famous locations in movies, books, and folklore. Players have built College of Winterhold from Skyrim in Minecraft, Oblivion’s the city of Kvatch, from Rivendell Lord of the Rings, and even the whole Star Wars planets. But it’s not just buildings that appear in Minecraft. Iconic animatronics from Five nights at Freddy’s appeared in the game, as well as pirate ships and tracks, and a Minecraft players are even working on recreating the whole thing Breath of the Wild world map.
