Minecraft players recreate the Pokemon’s Goldenrod city in the game
Celebrating their joy over the second generation of Pokemon, a Minecraft player recreated Goldenrod City from Gold and Silver.
Nintendo recently released Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shiny pearls, but a Minecraft players have just finished recreating one of the most recognizable cities in Gold Pokemon and Silver. This Minecraft players have commemorated their appreciation for the second generation of Pokemon through their recreated Goldenrod City.
Reddit user AnonymousDude0613 recently shared their version PokemonGoldenrod’s city Minecraft, complete with an instantly recognizable Radio Tower. In spite of Minecraft the screenshot was taken at night, the buildings are illuminated enough that each building is distinguishable. Due to the angle of the screenshot, the city of Goldenrod looks like it could be in a Pokemon game from a bird’s eye perspective.
Goldenrod City is the third city Gold Pokemon and Silver players will visit and it is not only the largest city in Johto but also one of the largest in the whole Pokemon series. The third gym in second generation of Pokemon located in Goldenrod City and it’s led by Normal type expert Whitney and her dreaded Miltank. Although the Gym is included in the entertainment of AnonymousDude0613, Minecraft players won’t have to earn badges by surviving Miltank’s powerful Rollout attack.
PokemonThe city of Goldenrod has several places to explore in addition to the vast Radio Tower, such as the Goldenrod Tunnel filled with other train riders. The city also has Johto’s Bike Shop, Name Reviewer, Game Corner and Magnet Train Station, all of which are featured in AnonymousDude0613’s Minecraft Seeds. Goldenrod City also includes a large department store, which Pokemon fans can buy almost anything they might need for a battle or any stone needed develop Pokemon Eevee and AnonymousDude0613’s Minecraft fit description The Department Store is one of the largest buildings in Goldenrod City.
Although many buildings in AnonymousDude0613’s Minecraft Goldenrod City’s amusement park may be empty, some buildings in the original are in Gold Pokemon and Silver Also strict in terms of aesthetics. This is especially true of the many smaller buildings to the south of the city and some to the east. The scale of Goldenrod City recreated AnonymousDude0613 helps Minecraft fans an idea of how much larger the city’s Radio Tower is compared to all the other buildings in the city.
Because AnonymousDude0613’s Minecraft Goldenrod City focuses specifically on the city itself, Pokemon Breeders to the south of Goldenrod City and the National Park to the north are both omitted from the entertainment district. It’s not clear at the moment Minecraft Goldenrod City is a surface-level entertainment, or if it has the vast halls of the Radio Tower or the underground tunnels of Goldenrod City. AnonymousDude0613 has not stated whether they intend to recreate other parts of PokemonJohto region of Minecraft, but since Goldenrod City is the largest city in the region, it’s a solid starting point.
