Minecraft players build impressive Steampunk houses
As players make themselves cozy in Minecraft’s hardcore, they build a stunning house inspired by steampunk architecture.
As players adventure and find ways to make themselves comfortable in the world of Minecraft, many players have made houses in one form or another. Whether fans are building structures to their heart’s content in Creative mode or seeking shelter overnight in a higher stakes mode, there are many reasons why players have You can search for a home for yourself on different maps. Hardcore mode is a unique mode in Minecraft acts as a sort of “hard mode” to the game’s standard Survival mode. What makes the hardcore mode different is that if the player dies, the world is cleared and all their progress is lost instantly. Some players and streamers have play through lost hardcore lasting thousands of days due to small, fatal mistakes. Even so, Reddit user Thecupoftea seems to have made themselves comfortable in their current world by building their own unique home.
The house is mainly made of wooden blocks, found in one of the game’s plain biomes. The house also has what it looks like a sugarcane farm outside, as well as several floors to give Thecupoftea plenty of space to make their own home. The builder describes the house as “small”, but it looks quite spacious in the screenshots posted.
Some people have made comments to point out that without pipes, gears and natural steam, the house in question doesn’t quite fit the theme of “steampunk”, and seems more like like one Minecraft tree house. The builder replied that despite the lack of features in that respect, the house is heavily inspired by steampunk architecture, which can be seen in the way the house is built.
Some other players compared the house to other designs such as Weasley’s cave from Harry Potter, or even something like Howl’s Moving Castle from Studio Ghibli. Many commentators gave Thecupoftea suggestions on how to make his designs more steampunk in nature, which could lead to a more improved version to be shared later.
