Millennials are embracing the tradition of the holiday card

Like most things in their lives, millennials want cards that are meaningful and authentic. Lindsey Roy, marketing director of Signal, which has more than 3,600 holiday cards in its product line, says millennials are looking for special cards for the important people in their lives. They like to choose something personal, not just a generic holiday picture that they buy by the box, sign and send. “They have teachers to thank or caregivers,” she said. “They want to find the card that is a perfect fit and they are willing to pay a little more if they like the design and it says the right thing.”
