Troxlers began her pregnancy journey when she was 47 years old, using an egg from an unnamed donor. Their first embryos are metabolised failed in 2019, and when the pandemic hit, “we had to go into pause mode,” says Susie Troxler. They had one frozen embryo left alive at the end of January and decided to take it, as she had just turned 50.
