Recently, the publisher of Genshin Impact changed to Cognosphere, from miHoYo. This caught the attention of many fans out there and they started to wonder what was going on with the game. In fact, some of the YouTubers out there have started making videos saying the game is coming to an end and Genshin Impact will be shutting down. Does the game really close?

Well, not likely. In fact, far from it. The publisher change was made after integrating different payment methods on EGS. miHoYo highlighted that “with more participating entities, the publisher of Genshin Impact on the Epic Games Store has been updated to COGNOSPHERE PTE. LTD. ”
