Midwestern Pet Foods Receives Warning From FDA After Hundreds Of Pet Deaths, Illnesses – CBS New York

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The Meals and Drug Administration has issued a warning letter to Midwestern Pet Meals after its pet food was linked to tons of of deaths and sicknesses.
The company says greater than 130 canine might have died and one other 200 might have gotten sick after consuming contaminated meals made by the producer.

It says poisonous mildew was present in SPORTMiX and different manufacturers made by the corporate.
The letter despatched Tuesday provides Midwestern 15 days to repair violations discovered throughout inspections.
