You may be wondering who the State of Oklahoma is? Well, it played defensively, lots of it, was 3rd in the nation in defense when it started its annual war with Oklahoma. Then it gives way a few yards above the Sooners, as everyone would do, but not by much (441). It then led 37-33 after Oklahoma’s muffled hit and Oklahoma State’s five-yard “drive” for three innings, and then TV-watchers across the country saw something. It’s incredibly exciting: Oklahoma defender Caleb Williams is over 56 – scrambling for the field, out of the backyard somehow, then through what looks like an Oklahoma open prairie.
