Michael B. Jordan wants Denzel Washington in the MCU

The MCU has seen some great actors take on iconic roles in the comics, and Michael B. Jordan believes the burgeoning cinematic universe should continue that tradition by bringing in the legendary Denzel Washington on a future project. Washington, who directed the Black Panther star in his latest project, A Journal For Jordan, has been busy promoting the movie.
In response to fan questions for an IMDb interview, Jordan, who joined Washington, was asked if he’d like to see Washington in. MCU at some point Jordan replied, “YES! No hesitation. I actually have some things in mind… But yeah!” “You’d better hurry!” Washington responded. “I know! But I get you. I have some ideas for that,” Jordan added. Washington went on to say, “Hey! Let’s focus on one thing. I sound like dad,” before Jordan finally said, “After I’m done. Creed III – you know what i’m saying? Once I finish that project, my mind can wander on other creative things. “
It seems like Jordan thought of the many characters Washington could play during their brief exchange, and the veteran actor is sure to make a seamless transition to the MCU. While it would be interesting to see someone of Washington’s caliber and demanding screen presence in such a beloved series, his first appearance in the MCU looks like it will. does not happen soon. In addition to his recent directing work, the actor’s performance is highly regarded in Joel Coen’s Macbeth’s Tragedy created a lot of buzz during awards season that could push Washington to win a third Oscar.
As for Jordan, many fans want to see the actor return as Erik Killmonger in the future Black Panther The project, a character widely regarded as one of the MCU’s most terrifying and holographic villains/characters, also has a lot to say about a variety of issues related to race and oppression. While his complex and deep character may not return (for now), the young star will not be absent from the big screen. Jordan has focused on his directorial debut, Creed 3, as he will once again play the role of Adonis Creed in Rocky spinoff. With Sylvester Stallone not returning, Jordan’s character is set to take over the mantle and face a new foe that will played by another MCU star in Jonathan Majors.
While much of phase four appears to have been mapped out with lots of interesting new characters, Washington could move into phase five or beyond. In the meantime, though, fans will have plenty of MCU content to keep them busy until Washington makes its first appearance. Back to the top of upcoming movies like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, upcoming series like Moonlight Knight and Secret Invasion will make 2022 another great year for MCU and Marvel fans.
