Max George revealed that a reunion for The Wanted is possible, as he and Tom Parker are desperate to make it happen.
The singer, 32, revealed that despite battling a brain tumor, Tom, also 32, is set to reunite the band ‘tomorrow’.
Max told The Sun: ‘I love the boys, the band, the echo, the fans, the music… I love them all. I would love to do it again.
“I talked to Tom a lot and he said, ‘Yeah, great. If it happens, it will happen.” Despite everything he’s going through, I know Tom will do it tomorrow.’
However, bandmates Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuinness and Nathan Sykes can be a bit harder to knock down, as Mac added: ‘The guys are all over the place doing their own thing.
‘They’re all really successful. But can I do it? One million percent I will. I hear it still a lot, so it feels like it never went anywhere.
“Music doesn’t age and for me, Glad You Came will forever be a hit of summer.”
Tom has been battling aggressive brain cancer, a grade 4 glioblastoma, since last year, and recently shared the difficulty of chemotherapy.
He is also working on a documentary to raise awareness, telling fans: ‘Almost a year ago my world was turned upside down by my diagnosis.
‘It’s been an emotional few months for me and my family. But I am determined to fight both the disease and the woe of chronically low levels of research to find a cure and treatment for glioblastoma.
‘In this documentary, as well as exploring the medical and human aspects of this disease, I am determined to raise awareness and raise as much money as possible through concert to help advance research. important cancer research and development of new treatments.’
