The points spread is against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but so far the points section is in their favor. Three-quarters in and their attack was really able to impose its will, overwhelming the Dallas Mavericks 87-65 three-quarters in.
Cleveland was led by the center Jarrett Allen, who has so far dropped the double with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Those points put Allen close to his season-high of 25.
Protection point Luka Doncic took the lead so far for Dallas, as he shot 6 to 9 from outside the arc and almost scored a triple double with 22 points, ten dimes and nine pounds.
The Cavaliers’ lead is tied to their biggest achievement this year, entering the fourth quarter.

What to know
After 4 games, the Cleveland Cavaliers will hit the road. They will be boarding the Dallas Mavericks flight at 8:30 p.m. ET Monday at the American Airlines Center. Cleveland has been on the wrong side of a one-sided rivalry with Dallas and is hoping for its first win since April 1, 2018.
The Cavaliers did not have too much trouble when they took on the Orlando Magic at home on Saturday when they won 105-92. Cleveland can attribute much of their success to the center Jarrett Allen, who posted a brace with 19 points and 11 rebounds, and the point guard Darius Garland, who dropped a double with 26 points and 11 dimes. Those were three games in a row where Allen had at least 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Dallas are in impressive distance but were unable to close the gap this past Saturday when they fell 120-114 to the Washington Wizards. Dallas ‘failure came despite a quality match from point guard Luka Doncic, who dropped the double with 33 points and 10 assists.
Cleveland is expected to lose its next game by 6.5. However, those who prefer to bet on the underdog should be pleased to know that they are on 11-5 over the odds when a loss is expected.
The Cavaliers are currently 10-10 while the Mavericks sit at 10-8. A few defensive numbers to note before the game even begins: Cleveland entered the game averaging just 102.9 points allowed per game, fourth best in the league. Less enviably, Dallas allowed their opponents to shoot 46.90% off the ground on average, which is the fourth-highest allowed shooting rate in the league.
