Mass Effects TV Show Reportedly Running at Amazon
BioWare and Electronic Arts are reportedly working with Amazon Studios to produce and develop a Mass Effect TV show.
Originally released in 2007, Block effect tells the story of Commander Shepard across a sprawling trilogy with vibrant backgrounds and an equally colorful cast of characters. A decade later in 2017, BioWare continues with a new chapter to the sci-fi saga with Mass Effect: Andromeda, despite a low reception compared to previous games, still convinced Electronic Arts that it was a franchise worth returning to.
Today, from a report done by Deadline, this third-person sci-fi shooter made by BioWare has defined a generation and built an avid fan base over the years. supposedly a TV series under the direction of Amazon Studios.
Undoubtedly, fueled by the recent successful and popular video game adaptations that have been witnessed such as Netflix’s Arcane, as well as encouraged by their efforts to regulate Wheel of time book series, Amazon Studios seems determined to tell a story set in Block effect The universe. While Electronic Arts and Amazon have yet to fully agree on the project, a report by Deadline indicates that a deal will be struck between the two in the very near future.
It is currently unknown if the project is an origin story set in Block effect universe, or an adaptation of Commander Shepard’s trilogy, but perhaps prudent direction to take Block effect TV show will be telling a whole new story, with an all-new cast of characters, using the captivating lore of the franchise and intriguing alien species.
The idea of a movie or TV show has been around for a long time Block effect fandom, and indeed, an official Block effect Film adaptation has been in the works since 2010, co-produced and co-sponsored by Legendary Studios and Warner Bros. Although very interested in adapting the story of Block effect and Commander Shepard, the project was ultimately canceled due to seemingly irreconcilable creative differences that made moving forward with the project difficult.
