Marion county fatal crash John Deere tractor


MARION COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that occurred in Tully Township in Marion County Wednesday.

Round 2 p.m. on County Highway 26 close to County Highway 171, the motive force of a Chevrolet Cruze was headed west on CR-26.

A person on a John Deere tractor entered the roadway from the north.

The Chevrolet hit the tractor and each autos burst into flames.

The person on the tractor was taken to the hospital the place he was pronounced deceased.

He was recognized as Jerry Baldinger, 61, of Caledonia, Ohio.

The driving force of the Chevrolet was handled for minor accidents.

The crash stays below investigation.
