Map Guide Apex Legends Habitat

There’s more than one way to enjoy Apex Legends, and Arena mode is one of them. Since it in-game rollout in April 2021, the game mode has become a core part of the game.

The Dark Depth Thematic Event recently hit the live servers with gorgeous cosmetics, and it also introduced a new Arenas map, Habitat Four. The map is the Leviathan spawning ground that was abandoned by the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC).

The Arena map is relatively smaller than the full-size version and has only two points of interest (POIs) in Habitat. Although Top can be considered fast paced even in casual game modes, Arena mode adds even more action to the equation. It usually takes a couple of matches to get used to the new maps in Arena mode, but doing your research ahead of time can greatly reduce familiarization time.

There are a total of two POIs on Habitats, Nests and Caves. If you know what to look out for at both landmarks, you have a chance to stay one step ahead of your enemy.

The cave

Cave as a POI favors close to mid-range combat with its self-contained structure. Maintaining an advantage on the ground inside the key can be the key to survival at times, but you can also wreak havoc on the ground if you pay close attention to your surroundings.

What should you look for in The Cave?

Inside the Cave you will find a Waterway that is eating away at the soil. This waterslide not only enhances the visual aesthetic of the POI as it can double as an escape tool.

If you need to evacuate the landmark as quickly as possible, then it’s best to use Waterslide, you can also use it to plan sieges, which can lead to sneak attacks.

There are also quite a few Flyers inside, but they don’t offer any bonuses.

The nest

While The Cave will be the home of melee enthusiasts, The Nest will be the opposite. This POI favors mid to long range combat and its open-minded nature makes it the perfect spot for snipers on Habitat.

What should you note at The Nest?

The nest is filled with unbroken Leviathan Eggs. Their durability makes them the perfect shell while they also swing around the landmark.

There are multiple access points to The Nest, and some of them even include Ziplines. Just when you think you’re safe, someone can jump in with a Zipline, meaning you should always keep your eyes open for potential dangers to come.
