Man shot and killed on Kansas City’s east side

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A man is shot dead in the night, leaving Kansas City detectives searching for clues that will lead them to an arrest.
The KCPD said officers responded to the shooting shortly before 3 a.m. Friday in the 7000 block of Monroe, near the intersection of Gregory and Cleveland. They found the adult male victim at the scene, who emergency responders declared him dead.
So far, police have not released any suspect information, sources say FOX4 investigators Kathy Quinn may be looking for a burgundy Chevrolet Impala.
