Man killed after crash between motorcycle and SUV in Lunenburg County – Halifax

A 40-year-old man from Nova Scotia’s Lunenburg County has died, after the motorbike he was driving collided with an SUV on Sunday.

Lunenburg District RCMP say the collision occurred on Hwy. 331 in Conquerall Financial institution at round 4:40 p.m.

Police say the SUV and motorbike had been travelling in reverse instructions after they collided.

The driving force and lone occupant of the motorbike, a Lunenburg County man, suffered life-threatening accidents and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

“The driving force later succumbed to his accidents,” RCMP wrote in a information launch.

The highway was closed for about six hours, and the investigation is ongoing.
