Man Injured In Possible Hatchet Attack At Lower Manhattan ATM – CBS New York

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A person is recovering after being attacked whereas utilizing an ATM in Lower Manhattan.
It occurred at round 5:20 p.m. Sunday at a Chase Financial institution ATM on Broadway close to Morris Road.

Police say the suspect, who’s believed to be homeless, was standing within the vestibule when the sufferer walked as much as the ATM to get money.
Because the sufferer, 51, was withdrawing cash, the suspect attacked, hitting him within the head and leg.
The sufferer was rushed to Bellevue Hospital and is in steady situation.
The suspect obtained away.
Police recovered the weapon on the scene.
