Man in police custody dies at Staten Island hospital

A 22-year-old man died in police custody at a Staten Island hospital early Friday — hours after he was arrested for allegedly molesting a feminine worker, cops stated.

Daniel Milton was initially taken to Staten Island College Hospital North on Thursday night for a head damage he sustained whereas leaping down stairs, authorities stated. 

Whereas on the hospital, he grabbed a 26-year-old worker’s buttocks, cops stated. 

Cops responded round 8:20 p.m. and arrested Milton, police stated. 

Whereas in custody, he “turned combative” and was “appearing erratically” towards medical employees, authorities stated. 

He was then medicated and handled by the employees, police stated. 

After midnight Friday, he skilled problem respiration and “associated signs,” at which era medical employees tended to him once more, cops stated.

Police stated Milton turned “combative” to the employees on the hospital after they got here on the scene.

About an hour later, round 1:10 a.m., Milton was pronounced lifeless on the hospital. The circumstances of his loss of life weren’t instantly clear, and the NYPD’s Drive Investigation Division is probing the incident.
