A person accused of punching a police horse at an anti-lockdown protest in Australia will stay in jail after refusing a COVID-19 check.
Kristian Pulkownik, 33, was arrested Saturday after he allegedly punched a police horse known as Tobruk on the protest.
Sydney police charged him with animal cruelty, becoming a member of an illegal meeting, affray and failing to adjust to a COVID-19 directive, the Guardian reported.
Pulkownik refused the COVID check in jail even though it’s a requirement to seem in courtroom. He subsequently has not but utilized for bail since his arrest.
