Madonna accuses Tory Lanez of illegally using one of her songs on his new album

Did Tory Laneze rip off one of these Madonnahit songs of?

In the first day of this month, Tory Laneze (real name Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson) announced a brand new dub album Alone At Prom, which he described as an “80s album” in online advertising. However, like Tory Laneze continuing to promote his latest work, the album’s eighth track—“Pluto’s Last Comet”—has garnered some negative attention from a major ’80s superstar: Madonna.

Last week, Madonna jump in Tory Lanezeof the comments section and accused him of beating “Pluto’s Last Comet” on her hit song “Into the Groove”. She specifically wrote:

“Reading your message led to illegal use of my song being broken [sic]! ”

Name by MadonnaHer comment also seems to have sent Tory Laneze DM about this issue. It’s also important to note that it’s currently unclear if she will be pursuing a legal action over alleged “illegal use” of her song.

Regarding her accusations, MadonnaThe main secret of Tory Laneze“Pluto’s Last Comet” is that she believes the song’s opening instrument is an excerpt of “Into the Groove.” You can listen to both tracks below and judge for yourself:

Tory Laneze did not publicly admit it Madonna or her statement. The same, similar, Madonna did not make any further comments on the matter.
