Madden NFL 22 (Xbox Series X | S & PS5)

Main highlights:

• New scenarios for the franchise
• Trainer adjustments added to Practice mode
• Updated NFL Live Playbooks

Gameplay update:

• Trainer Adjustments and Coverage Depth are back in Practice mode! You will now be able to use Trainer Adjustments and Zone Range Adjustments in Practice Mode via RS/R3 click from the Play-Call Menu.
  • DEVICE NOTES: When the play call menu was redesigned in Madden 21 to launch Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5, some functionality from the previous console generation has been left out. As you told us, you found these options to be very useful in practice, so the controls for using Adjust Training in Reality have been moved. Players can click RS/R3 at any level during the play call to enter the Trainer Adjustment menu. When you return from the menu, you will be returned to the previous position in the call menu.
• Fixed an issue with Gun Wing Slot Wk: RPO Power Alert Skimming allowing QB to come out of combat and scramble instead of delivering or passing.

• Removed the temporary modifier previously used on RPO Zone Peek plays that allowed defenders to dump blocks faster. Block-sheds on this game have now reverted to using only rank matching, as the exploit that led to this modifier has been resolved.
• Fixed an issue with the serve animation on Gun Split Slot Open: Triple Option LT, so that it would behave like other Triple Option handouts.

Franchise Update:

• Fixed an issue with the fifth year option scenario that prevented it from firing during the season
• Fixed an issue with the ‘Crisis of Trust’ scenario objective causing the objective to not award an employee Points upon completion
• Added new franchise scenarios:
  • DEVICE NOTES: This update will apply to both new and existing Franchise files, so you don’t need to restart your Franchise.
  • Increase groove: The new Trench Boost scenario gives you the chance to help improve your entire offensive line by building strong dash or passing performance. Level-based rewards will compensate you for your success in the following game and give you the opportunity to instantly strengthen your offensive front to clear the way for your backruns or hold Clean your franchise midfielder’s jersey.
  • QB Duel: The QB Duel scenario begins in the regular season when two of the league’s best signal callers go head to head.
