Although contestants enter the show looking for love, some leave the show without finding a relationship, but are instead able to work with big companies.

What is “Love Island” about?

Since 2015, the ITV reality show has involved a group of men and women in a series of games and quests with a partner, giving them a chance to mingle with each other until they find the love of their life.

The show is organized like Big Brother in a house with many cameras as a bow tie on the wall while the contestants chase love and a huge cash prize.

Love Island 2022 returns to the island of Mallorca with a brand new villa, having previously filmed the show in Fiji for season one and Cape Town for a winter version.

Caroline Flack hosted the dating show, with comedian Iain Stirling as narrator, before Stirling’s wife Laura Whitmore took over after Flack’s death in 2020.

Where are the Love Island 2021 contestants now?

A year on from Love Island season 7, we take a look at where the couples are now.

Mille Court and Liam Reardon

2021 winners Millie and Liam may have had their fair share of ups and downs at the Love Island mansion, but since winning the joint £50,000 cash prize the pair have only gone from strength to strength.

Initially, the winners had to navigate a long-distance relationship between Wales and Essex, but Millie and Liam moved in together last November.

Liam has started working in real estate, renovating homes in Wales, while Millie has collections with Asos and Ego and an alleged six-figure deal with eyelash company Eyelure.

Faye Winter and Teddy Soares

While Faye and Teddy were at the villa, the pair sparked 25,000 Ofcom complaints after an explosive row that was broadcast on ITV2 – but third-place finishers remain happy in the UK.

Much like the 2021 winners, Faye and Teddy moved in together last November and attend many events.

Teddy has been named a Jack Wills brand ambassador alongside Faye’s growing real estate and home goods businesses and a deal with hair brand Razzl Dazzl.

Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran

As two of last year’s show’s most iconic contestants with their on-off relationship, Chloe and Toby kept the audience in suspense, but ended up as runners-up.

Shortly after the finale, the two battled breakup rumors and are said to have moved in together.

The face of JD Women, Chloe has her own burgeoning YouTube channel, and Toby plays for the Hashtag football team and models for BoohooMan.

Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank

Just three months after leaving the Love Island villa, Kaz and Tyler called it quits.

And while the couple didn’t find love, both Kaz and Tyler have had exciting things to do, with Kaz modeling for lingerie brand Boux Avenue and Tyler working for BoohooMan.

The split was announced in a joint statement on social media: “We are very sad to announce that we have decided to end our romantic relationship. We had an amazing journey and we will always have a special bond between us.”

Mary Bedford and Aaron Simpson

Love Island fans spotted Mary Friendzone Aaron on the AfterSun episode of the series, we found out they had split just days after leaving the villa.

Mary explained that “personal issues” got in the way of their relationship, but both have since found personal success.

Aaron has done sponsored posts for NovaMan and presented the Cheltenham Races, while Mary has modeled for Boux Avenue, MissGuided and others.

Lucinda Strafford and Aaron Francis

Lucinda struck up a romance with Aaron after Brad McClleland was sent home from the reality show, but the pair decided to remain friends.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Lucinda said: “Unfortunately neither of us found true love at the villa. We are good friends, I know I can come to him with anything.”

Since then, Lucinda has been named as a brand ambassador for I Saw It First and has also modeled for companies.

Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish

Some couples hold out outside the villa while others don’t even make it – Liberty and Jake split days before leaving the Mallorca home but have found individual success.

Liberty attended Dancing on Ice 2022 and has branding deals with The Style while Jake stayed on site doing sponsored posts for NovaMan.
