Louis Vuitton Expands Star Blossom Collection – WWD

Louis Vuitton is adding white gold and diamonds to its Star Blossom Collection.

Launched in 2018, the Star Blossom jewel features the iconic Monogram Flower – originally designed by Georges Vuitton in 1896 – in a six-piece line that includes pendants, studs, and studs. Earrings, bracelets and rings are stacked together or worn alone.

According to the brand, the quatrefoil, the most famous of the house’s monograms, is meant to emphasize the confident femininity of women who wear Star Blossom jewelry.

The construction of Monogram Flower creates a harmony between stone and precious metal, said the French house. At the heart of each motif is a nail crafted in white gold, evoking the brand’s heritage of trunk-making.
