Louis Angelino III made money from cleaning the house. His sparkling talent leads him to a new client, someone he doesn’t even know.
“He told me there was a key under the rug,” Angelino said.
He entered a house with the key under the door and he went to work.
“I sweep, I sweep, I vacuum, I crumple pillows, I clean the kitchen, I make the bathroom,” he said.
It took 2.5 hours to clean the house when his phone rang.
“Did you go out today? Did you clean up?” his client asked.
“(I said) ‘Yeah, I’m out today. Yeah, I cleaned up. I just cleaned for the last 2.5 hours. Where are you? I’m sitting on your couch right now and playing with Your cat is waiting for you to come in.’ And he was like, ‘Louis, I don’t have a cat,’ Angelino said.
But Beth Motzel and her husband do.
“We put a key under the mat for our contractor to get in,” says Motzel.
She went ashore on June 28 when she received a call from her husband.
“Beth, someone broke in and cleaned up our house,” said Motzel, who also lives in Cherry Hill.
Angelino made a navigation error. He misread the 7 in the address as 2 and went to Motzel’s house.
He said it was the best mistake he could have made and posted the story on TikTok under his stewardship @stayscrewy. The video is going viral with almost a million views.
Now, Angelino wants to open a business and calls herself “Cleaning Fairy”.
He said this new project is very good for his health.
“I realize that cleaning is like my therapy because when I handle a messy situation and make everything neat and beautiful afterwards, I am very satisfied,” Angelino said.
As for Motzel, when asked if they still had the key under the rug, Beth said: “Oh, the key’s gone.”
