The Los Angeles Thieves ‘2022 Call of Duty The league roster has grown with the addition of a Challengers player.
Thieves today announced that they have signed 21-year-old Nathaniel “Pentagrxm” Thomas as a replacement for their CDL roster. Pentagrxm is the only replacement designated on the LAT’s roster for the upcoming season.
Pentagrxm has competed in Challengers since its inception. In fact, his team won the first online North American Challenger tournament in 2019. Since then, he and his various teams have enjoyed success, including two NA Challengers Cups and a second-place finish at the end-of-season NA Challengers Grand Finals in August 2021 as part of the Player Built list. Pentagrxm, along with Javier “Vikul” Milagro and former CDL players GodRx and Pandur won their third NA Challengers trophy Vanguard Season.
LA Thieves can hope Pentagrxm won’t be needed for this year’s starting line-up after a difficult first season in the CDL. Despite having a strong roster on paper, Thieves has made many roster changes before that eliminated from the 2021 CDL Championship in the first round of the losing bracket.
Entering the new CDL season, Thieves’ starting lineup including Drazah and Kenny, as well as former Seattle Surge star Octane and former OpTic Chicago Envoy submachine gunner.
The 2022 CDL season will officially begin on February 4, but Thieves and 11 other teams will compete in the pre-season Kickoff Classic from January 21 to 23 in Arlington, Texas.
